COMMUNITY HEALTH AND VACCINE HESITANCY
2021 - 2022
Marginality and vulnerability are not universal terms. We are trying to identify the root, systemic drivers of low vaccine uptake in marginalized communities through community-based participatory modeling with regional community members, leaders, and experts, supplemented by understanding marginality and vulnerability in the current COVID-19 pandemic.
LEARNING FROM YOU
Data Collection
We are trying to reach out to hear community voices in several different ways. If you're a community leader of a group in Hampton Roads, Virginia, we want to hear from you! There are opportunities to participate in virtual and in-person workshops below to discuss how vaccine campaigns have been received by your community, best (and worst) practices for getting people vaccinated, and the concerns about covid-19 vaccines being voiced by your community members. Join us by RSVPing through one of the links below.

If you're a community member in Hampton Roads, particularly if you feel you have been excluded somehow from healthcare outreach, we will be attending local health fairs to gather your thoughts on the covid-19 vaccine and health outreach that is relevant to you. You can also participate in our survey linked on the website below.
